Believe it or not, the smallest bird on the planet calls Cuba home. The bee hummingbird, known locally as the zunzuncito, measures barely two inches from beak to tail — small enough to be mistaken for a large bug. Despite its size, it can beat its wings dozens of times per second and zip around at impressive speeds.
